Do you know anyway this can be made faster? I have been following your example but I have a list of over 2000 items to filter and when you first click in the autocomplete box ther eis a significant pause while it lists all the items. ANy help or tips would be appreciated.

Hi, Is there anyway that you can split those items to different JSON files at the load? So that there is no need for any server call to fetch the data, and let&#039;s say if the data is not found in JSON1, you can search in JSON2, so on...If that doesn&#039;t suit for your app, please read few tips here http://code.flickr.net/2009/03/18/building-fast-client-side-searches/, it may help.]]></description>
